Forest Elder Shelf Sitter Sculpture

A resin shelf-sitter sculpture of an ancient forest elder — ram-horned, green-bearded, and crowned with a thicket of red mushrooms — perched on the edge of your shelf with his weathered feet dangling over the front and an old walking staff in his hand. He has seen every season the woods have ever had. The moss has claimed him, the mushrooms have made him their home, and he wears it all like a robe he never means to take off.

Meet "Alder" — named for the old tree that grows where the land gives way to water, the one folklore made a guardian of thresholds and a keeper of the passage. He's the grandfather of the family: the one who's held the whole forest together so long he's forgotten how to set it down. Weary to his roots, and still standing watch.
